Surface finishing that hides every tool mark and still measures true

Inflpan Surface Finishing takes raw castings, machined blanks and fabricated frames and hands them back with a finish your customer can see in the first second of an audit. Flatness to 0.01 mm, Ra down to 0.2 µm, and a written report with every lot — routed anywhere in the USA, usually inside a week.

02 — the workshop

inflpanjlott.com is a finishing shop, not a coating broker

Finishing workshop floor with CNC cells and grinding machines in a bright industrial hall

Here is the thing people ask on the phone: who actually touches the part? At inflpanjlott.com the answer is eleven operators, six machines and a metrology bench that never goes more than two days without calibration. We do not broker out the hard steps. A lot comes in with a scale crust from the foundry and leaves the same week as a Ra 0.4 µm mirror with a stamped report.

That said — we are not precious about small jobs. A single surgical bracket and a forty-thousand-piece fastener run go down the same route: a written scope, a fixture plan, a first article photo, then repeat batches. The difference is only how many boxes we stack at the shipping end.

Cell 02 — metrology

Measured, not guessed

Surface testers, profilometers and a height graph on the bench. Every lot leaves with numbers attached.

Cell 03 — grinding room

Dial in flat, then keep it flat

Surface and cylindrical grinders plus a double-disc lapping machine hold a 0.01 mm window across plates up to 1.2 m.

Cell 04 — electro tank

Clean without dulling

Electropolishing and passivation lines for stainless and nickel alloys, with a rinse that leaves no film residue.

Cell 05 — urgent lane

Downline means today

A second shift is reserved for parts that stop an assembly line. Call before noon, the part leaves the same evening.

Cell 06 — packing

It arrives looking finished

Vapour-inhibited bags, foam nests and a crate label your receiving dock can read from three metres.

04 — the route

How inflpanjlott.com takes a part from rough to report

No mystery steps. Four stages, each one ending with something you can hold in your hand or read on paper.

01

Audit and honest scope

Send a drawing, a sample or a photo with a ruler in it. We tell you what finish is physically reachable on that alloy and what it will cost, in writing, before anything moves.

02

Fixture and first article

Custom soft-jaw fixturing, then one piece finished to spec and photographed. This is the stage where surprises get expensive, which is why we refuse to skip it.

03

Batch finishing

Grinding, polishing, blasting or coating depending on the scope, with in-process checks at 10-piece intervals so drift never reaches your dock.

04

Handover with paperwork

Final measurement, a report signed by the operator who ran the job, protective packing and a tracking number the same day.

05 — why teams stay

Four reasons inflpanjlott.com gets the second order

0.01 mm

Held across big plates

Double-disc lapping keeps 1.2 m plates inside a 0.01 mm window — no periodic table needed, just geometry.

24 h

For the line that stopped

Call before noon and urgent lots move the same day. We keep a shift open for exactly this situation.

40,000

Pieces in one lot

The same route handles one bracket and a forty-thousand-piece fastener batch. Only the crate changes size.

100%

Lots with a report

Every shipment carries a signed measurement sheet. If a reading drifts, we know the machine and the shift that produced it.

Surgical tray components, electropolished

316L parts pulled to Ra 0.25 µm and passivated in one continuous route, so the trays did not pick up any free-iron staining during handling.

What buyers say after the audit

Three of the people below have been sending us lots for four years or more. One of them is the reason we built the double-disc lapping cell.

Portrait of Priya Venkataraman, operations manager at a medical device manufacturer

Our auditor walked the receiving dock, picked three trays at random and put them under a light. Nothing to say. That never happens with a new supplier, so we keep finding reasons to stay.

We called at 8am about a jam on the line. Parts were back the same night with a signed sheet. I did not believe the report until I checked the readings myself — they were inside the window.
